The CAD CAM Software Add-On VoluMill offers you a proven tool path strategy with which you mill faster and deeper than with conventional tool path strategies. By avoiding sharp changes in direction and controlling the material removal rate, you can significantly extend tool life.
VoluMill works on any open or closed geometry, with any number of machining operations.
The CAM application allows you as a programmer to use the best cutting data for your job as well as optimal feeds and speeds.
The program creates toolpaths that do not contain abrupt changes of direction or material volume.
The load on the cutting tools and spindle never exceeds the limits programmed by the user.
As a result, the machines run quietly and the tools are cooler, even at much higher speeds and feeds, which extends the life of tools and machines.
